A. Account & Profile Information: When you register an account directly on Testpoint, we collect your name, chosen username, email address, password hash, and target IELTS band score.
B. Google OAuth 2.0 User Data: When you choose to authenticate via Google ("Continue with Google"), we request only basic profile permissions (openid, profile, email) via Google Identity Services. Specifically, we collect:
- Your verified primary Google email address
- Your full name (given name and family name)
- Your Google profile avatar picture URL
- Your unique Google account identifier (

C. Academic & Test Progress Data: In the course of using the platform, we store your mock exam answers, listening & reading test scores, writing essay submissions, speaking challenge responses, and study roadmap milestones.
3How We Use Google User Data and Personal Information
We use the data collected strictly for the following educational and functional purposes:
To authenticate your identity, establish secure encrypted session cookies, and enable one-click access to your tests.
To persist your mock exam history, band scores, answer sheets, and personalized study plan recommendations.
To track your membership status (Free vs. VIP Pro) and grant access to advanced tests and materials.
To identify your student account and provide timely technical assistance when you contact support.
Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure
Testpoint's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We only use Google data to provide user-facing features (logging you into your account and displaying your student profile).
- We do not transfer Google data to third parties, unless necessary to provide or improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition.
- We do not use or transfer Google data for serving ads, including personalized, re-targeted, or interest-based advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, unless you have given explicit affirmative consent, it is needed for security reasons, or to comply with applicable laws.

We never sell, rent, monetise, or distribute your personal data or Google user data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

We retain personal data and mock test records for as long as your student account is active or needed to provide you with historical score analytics.
6Your Rights & Account/Data Deletion Requests
You have full control over your personal data:
- Access and Correction: You may view and edit your profile details at any time through your Student Dashboard.
- Revoke Google Access: You can revoke Testpoint's access to your Google account at any moment via Google Account Permissions.
- Data Deletion Request: You have the absolute right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated test attempts, scores, and personal records.
